Climactive® Woolly Heather 2L: Lafuma created the Climactive® label that certifies products that are waterproof and breathable. Clothing that features this technology prevent water from penetrating the fabric and stop it from getting wet. Climactive® fabrics have a membrane that guarantees maximum comfort, protection and durability. A waterproof and windproof protection that wicks away moisture from the skin.
Certified Oeko-Tex and Bluesign, the Climactive® Woolly Heather 2L is a cocoon against the weather. Technical, robust and comfortable, modern with its mottled appearance it also has the advantage of offering a water repellent treatment without carbon or fluorine.
Mix & Match: This system offers the option to choose the insulation liner for your jacket using an identical zip fastener system. Therefore allowing you to add comfort and style to your protective jacket as needed.
DWR: This coating allows water to form beads and run off the shell fabric instead of being absorbed. The water-repellent outer fabric increases insulation and prevents it from being saturated by liquids, preventing any feeling of dampness.
PFC-Free: Most Bergson products are water-repellent and environmentally friendly, without fluorocarbon (PFC). PFCs belong to a group of chemical compounds that are used in a number of outdoor products for waterproofing the outer material. Their use has received a lot of criticism, as they are considered non-biodegradable. They build up in the body and are suspected to be harmful to health.
Low Impact™: Low Impact™ is based on 2 criteria that are essential to eco-design: the use of materials with a low environmental impact (at least 40% of the weight of the product is made from low impact materials such as Ecoya, Sorona®, tencel, hemp, RDS feathers), or certified materials (at least 80% of the product weight must be certified Bluesign®, Oeko-Tex®).
Oeko-Tex® Certification: The innovative fibres used are certified by Oeko-Tex®, an internationally recognised control body. This label certifies that the fibres do not contain chemical elements that are harmful to the skin and the individual.
Bluesign® Standard: Any fabric that is Bluesign® approved offers the highest level of consumer safety by employing methods and materials in their manufacture that conserve resources and minimise the impact on people and the environment. A Bluesign® approved fabric ensures that:
